If you can't see the Image below, it says "Thank you for being you."
I would do anything to keep my parents happy and set a great example to all of my siblings.
Sometimes, it's hard to set an example. I go to the Temple more than my parents and more than my siblings. I encourage my Mum go to the Temple often, but it's hard. She accepted my invitation and haven't been to the Temple since last December.
I'm so grateful for everything that my Dad has done for me and my family. It's hard of raising up with my Dad working in the most nights during the week. I love getting surprises and support from him.
If you can't see the Collage before, it's photos of me and my Dad.
One of the favourite surprises was; I was all ready to go to the Stake Ball and one of my great guy friends was going to be my date. But he ended up telling me he couldn't go, because of he was going to go to a musical. My Dad had work. Some reason, my Dad went to work and he wasn't rostered on. So he called home and talked to Mum to ask if I was ready and mentioned he is on his way home.
He got change to church clothes when he got home, and he took me to the Stake Ball. It was great! I appreciated him being there, slow danced with me, spent some time together with other members from our Stake for the whole time until we had to go home.
Girls, thank you for being you. Be happy for who you are. One day or one night, your Dad will probably say "Thank you for being you" and it's a great feeling.
Stay Tuned.
