Some Things Take Time

I absolutely love looking at some quotes that I have saved on my laptop. Most of them, I will be sharing one Image per post for motivation. They are so useful and so true!

If you can't see the Image, it says "SOME THINGS TAKE TIME" It's so true.

It applies to us for when we go to High School or University or College or further studies, it takes time for studying to get acceptable marks and get ourselves to pass successfully.

It also applies to us for when we go to Seminary or Institute, it takes time to get ourselves in the routine of going to Seminary or Institute often.

You may not consider the next thing takes time but I reckon it does. It takes time and also effort to get ourselves to pass our Driving Test so we can have Driver's licence. It takes time to go practicing a lot of driving.

You also may not consider the next thing takes time but I reckon it does. It takes time for waiting for a letter to arrive, sometimes we do feel that we are getting impatient. Just remember, that letters doesn't take one day to arrive. It takes time and sometimes our Missionaries sends some letters at a time but it cost some money to able to do that.

Stay Strong

We may have down days that may turned into weeks. I suggest to you from now on, don't go in too much detailed about those down days or down weeks to your Missionaries because it is a chance that he might get distracted. I know I would be distracted if I went on a mission and someone told me about their down days or down weeks in too much detailed.

I know I haven't been emailing my Missionary for a certain time, I have been through a lot of down and up days for over a month now. I don't want to tell him anything about my down days because I always love having him happy when I email him the up days.

If you can't see the Image, it says "Stay Strong"

I think it is really important to Stay Strong because I have read, heard and seen when the wait is over, it is so worth it. I know it can be hard to achieve to reach a goal to finish the wait like racing to reach the finish line. It's also sometimes easy to fall down and hard to come back up again. I have been noticing the difference of how I was before I met my Missionary and after I met my Missionary. It doesn't seem a big change and difference, it just means that I have been learning to allow myself to grow up and making better decisions in life.

I found myself hard to go and have fun nights with some friends because there are friends who are either working or studying or serving a mission or go on dates with their partners or they are married or they have a family or they are too far away from me. I don't go anywhere much because I don't have my driving licence as yet, so I still remember a lot to Stay Strong

What does Stay Strong means to you?

Laughter, Memories, Pain and Happiness

Sometimes I was thinking what would be a great image to relate to all of us somehow. I saw a Google Image and I think it relates to us. I thought to share with you about what I think how it relates to us.

If you can't see the Image, it says and it displays a play button for "THE LAUGHTER," a pause button for "THE MEMORIES," a stop button for "THE PAIN" and a rewind button for "THE HAPPINESS."

I will go into detailed of how I think it relates to us, by having the laughter is like us having those moments that we still have friends and families to make us laugh.

Sometimes we think and pause for a moment or some moments about the memories that we had with our missionaries. They made us happy before they left, they make us happy when we receive emails or/and letters from them often.

The pain would be of how sometimes we may think it is not going to work out between you and your missionary. I know it could be easily done. It could also be the pain by how much it hurts of either his family members or his relatives or your family members say towards you. I felt so much hurt that I didn't want to talk to one of my Missionary's sisters inlaw anymore. So what I did was to change my privacy settings and made sure that she wouldn't be able to see basically nothing on my wall and ignored her mean messages towards me.

The happiness, I am sure that we all think about the happiness that we have with our missionaries before he left. Many happiness of being together, having so much memories together if you had memories before he went on his mission and other things that he done for you to keep you happy. I know for my Missionary, we had a few memories and it was because I was long distance before he left for his mission.

I really hoped you liked this post.

Calm Down, We Got This

My Missionary's Mum mentioned to me "2 years feels like a long time but it really is going by very quickly," from one of our many conversations between us. It stood out to me when she said that because it was so true. I could actually relate to that. 2 years will go so fast if you keep yourself busy, try out new experiences, try make an effort to pursue your hobbies and passions, etc. You get the idea. It could be going on new adventures or journeys away from home for a few weeks or a few months like vacations or holidays.

I was looking on Google Images and researched "We got this."  I was having a look if there was any great images that it would relate to us. I saw a perfect one. I really hoped you like it.

If you can't see the Image, it says "CALM DOWN! WE GOT THIS"

A tip: We got this, nobody would stop us, it's our decision and it's our agency. Nobody can take our agency away from us. Always remember to stay strong whatever happens to us.

6 Months, What's Next?

I know some girls just reached 6 months mark approaching near 6 months mark.  It didn't seemed that long ago since I reached 6 months mark, but that was 9 months ago when I reached 6 months mark.

As listed below is the suggestions to keep yourself busy while waiting from 6 months mark, onwards.

- Attend Young Womens or Young Single Adults Activities, this may include Firesides, Mission Preparation Classes, etc.

- Try emailing and writing letters to friends during their Missions if you haven't already.

- Try attending the Temple or different Temples nearby regularly if you have a current Temple Recommend.

- Be focused on Studies, it could be School or College or University.

- If you have a desire to serve a Mission, serve a Mission.

- Have attempts to accomplish your goals that it is achievable.

- Make new friends.

Believe in Yourself

As I was looking and researching other quotes, I saw a great one on Google Image that I thought it relates to us for waiting. I hope you will like this quote.

If you can't see the Image, it says "Don't let today's troubles bring you down. Don't let life's little obstacles keep you from trying. Don't let your fears keep you from dreaming. Don't give up for any reason. Believe in Yourself."

It's so true, we all go through struggles, trails and tribulations while waiting for our Missionaries. Don't allow the struggles, trails and tribulations to stop you from waiting for him, stop contacting him and stopped caring about him. I stopped contacting my Missionary for awhile now because I felt hurt so much inside. At the moment, I am trying to stay busy and focus on life what is important. It took a lot of effort for me of what to say to my Missionary so often when I emailed him.

It is so hard at the moment to convince myself to contact him again. It will just take time and find the right time to do it.

Don't Expect Replies Straight Away

Sometimes, I have been noticing some girls complains when their Missionaries don't reply to them. The girls get upsets and sometimes forgets to a reason or many reasons why they don't reply. I would like to say to you, it's okay when your Missionary doesn't reply to you. They came on their missions to focused on the Lord's Work for 2 years.

If he doesn't email you, there is possibility reasons why. The reasons why as listed, it's mean either he is busy, ran out of time, it's a holiday and the public library that he accesses to is closed and his Preparation Day changed to a different day during the week.

Sometimes Missionaries just want a break from emailing someone for a certain amount of time. As for me, I have been so busy and don't email my Missionary for awhile. I decided to give him a break from hearing from me for a certain time because he didn't emailed me for 25 Weeks or so.

I looked up on Google Images to see if there is any good images to attached to this post.

If you can't see the Image, it says "Expect nothing and you'll be surprised of something." It's so true. Sometimes when we don't email our Missionaries, he still emails. I written a short letter/note for you to read for readers and it says the following;

"Dear Readers,

I suggest you, don't expect replies straight away. Your Missionary is serving the Lord for the 2 Years. 2 Years is nothing compare to eternity. It may seemed a long time but if you keep yourself busy, having supportive friends, having supportive family and trusted in Heavenly Father, time will go fast and it will make the wait easier when you don't think of your Missionary all the time.

Missionaries will be always busy. They may email you, send letters and packages, it's because they are showing that they still care about you and other reasons behind it.

From Megan Green."

If you have any questions, my email is on Introduction Section.

Let Your Faith Show

In Relief Society lesson, the topic was based on a April General Conference talk. It was called "Let Your Faith Show by Russell M. Nelson."  I really enjoyed the lesson. I took some notes and I thought it would be good to share with you a few notes that I have took during the lesson. It's just a constant reminder that is the way that I see it and it is also teaches what type of people that missionaries meet day by day.

  • Day after day, on your path toward your eternal destiny, increase your faith. Proclaim your faith! Let your faith show!

  • Spiritual truth cannot be ignored especially divine commandments. Keep divine commandments brings blessings, every time! Breaking divine commandments brings a loss of blessings, every time!

  • Problems abound in this world because it is populated by imperfect people. Their objectives and desires are heavily influenced by their faith or lack of it.

  • Many put priorities ahead of God. Some challenge the relevance of religion in modern life.

If you can't see the Image, it says "LET YOUR FAITH SHOW, Russell M. Nelson."

God Has a Plan

I was searching some topics of videos that I could share with you to put on this blog. One of the videos that I saw was great and it's called "God Has A Plan (Provo YSA 200 Mormon Messages)" We all need to beware that Heavenly Father has a plan.

Here's the video, if you can't see it. Click the title of what is called above the video. I hope you will enjoy the video, the talk is by President Thomas S. Monson. As we are waiting for our missionaries, our plan could be waiting for a missionary and not dating other guys or going on a mission while waiting for our missionaries.

Comfort in Trails

I know as for myself, waiting for a missionary is a trail. It has Up's Moments and Down's Moments. Sometimes it's not necessary for the Missionaries to feel down if someone rejects them for not getting them to share the gospel. However I reckon it's okay for them to feel down when something is going wrong and down in their family while they are gone.

I will always remember that the Holy Spirit can provide comfort during difficult trials and challenges. I know all of us go through trails and challenges everyday. I know it isn't suppose to be easy to get through those trails and challenges. The Video is called: "Comfort in Trials: Power of the Holy Spirit" The video goes for 3 minutes and 45 seconds.

If you can't see the video, I suggest you to click on the title of the Video called. How has the Spirit been a comfort to you?

I testify that I really liked the video of other people to say about how has the Spirit been a comfort to them. It is one of the many grateful things that I have in life to able to have the Holy Ghost. When I get down, I always feel comfort instantly. Some people like Investigators and Less Actives gets to feel the love and power of the Holy Ghost when Church members such as Missionaries to invite them to come to Church. In The Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Don't You Quit

One evening, I was looking at General Conferences talks. I shared a quote with my friends that I really loved and I realised that I didn't shared that quote to the Support Groups. I really liked how it mentions "Trust God and Believe in Good Things to Come," that's like us we need to trust in Heavenly Father and good things will come. If we trust in Heavenly Father for waiting, we could be with our Missionaries after they finish serving a mission.

If you can't see the image, it says“Don't you quit. You keep walking, you keep trying, there is help and happiness ahead. Some blessings come soon. Some come late. Some don't come until heaven. But for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, they come. It will be alright in the end. Trust God and believe in Good Things to Come.” - Jeffrey R. Holland."

Good, Better and Best

One day or One night; I was talking to my Dad about something and he mentioned one of the things that relates to me. So I was thinking about what my Dad mentioned to me and he mentioned Good, Better and Best. It made a lot of sense to me as he was explaining it to me. I also looked up on Google for images on Good, Better and Best. One of the images that I saw, was the image below that I have liked best.

If you can't see the image, it's says "Good things come to those who wait (top)" "Better things come to those who don't give up (middle)" "And the best things come to those who just believe (bottom)." It is really important to remember during waiting for your missionary. Sometimes it takes time to realise if you are doing something Good or Better or Best. I hope you will enjoy this motivation as a start.

There's No Need to Rush

Have you ever think about what things you would like to accomplish within a day or a month or a year? Will it be a long term process or short term process. Some things will take some time to work on, and some things will take quicker. There's No Need to Rush. If things will take a long process, allow it go for a long time. If things will take a short process, don't take it for granted and allow it go for a short time.

As I was researching on Google Images, "There's no rush." It comes up as a suggestion if I meant "There's No Need to Rush." I thought that was a great idea. Below is one of the images that I liked best.

If you can't see the image, it says "THERE'S NO NEED TO RUSH. IF SOMETHING IS MEANT TO BE, IT WILL HAPPEN. IN THE RIGHT TIME, WITH THE RIGHT PERSON, FOR THE BEST REASON."

I thought to let you girls know that there's no need to rush to get everything that you would like to accomplish this year. There is always the following year to try again and try other things too.
