Don't Be Afraid, Just Have Faith

Girls, I hoped my previous post made sense. I noticed about 3 girls or so has asked me "What happened? What happened between you and your Missionary?"

I felt inspired to continue to post on this blog while those readers are still waiting. I felt down when I stopped doing this blog because it has helped a lot of girls during the wait.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Don't be afraid, just have faith."

I always learning something new. I learnt a lot about faith since my previous post to this post. If you meant to be with your Missionary, you would know! You could tell by what he says to you through emails and letters. For the extra things that you get; he is making you feel special and he appreciates you to be apart of his life!

Faith is a action word. Faith is believing in something that we can not see. We all need faith, we all need to act upon faith and we all need to apply faith in our everyday lives.

How can you apply faith in your everyday life? What can you do to improve your faith in Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father everyday?

I could think of an example of how could we can apply faith in our everyday lives. We can apply faith by having faith that we will travel to our various destinations throughout the day and evening safely. Always try to remember to "Don't be afraid, just have faith."

It Takes Commitment While Waiting

I learnt a lot throughout the time while I was waiting for a Elder. A Elder who I used to be friends with. I'm very grateful for friends and some other girls who asked what happened between me and him when he got home. Girls, I knew it wouldn't work out since 1 week after he reached 7 months mark. I stayed in the groups until he comes home, so I can tell you all how things go between me and him.

I sent him a Facebook Message to mention "Welcome Home." He sent me a reply about a few days later and I refused to open the whole message. It took me a few weeks to gain confidence to open the whole message. When I opened the whole message, I didn't cry or get upset while reading.

Girls, I'm alright and I didn't feel hurt. I was a girl who was immature while waiting and thought things will work out somehow. Don't expect things will work out because you might get upset if it doesn't work out.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Commitment leads to action. Action brings your dreams closer." - Marcia Wieder."

I would like to share with you all a few things that I have learnt.

I learnt that you need to be fully committed while waiting:
If your Missionary doesn't know that you are waiting for him, let him know for the next email to him.

If you are going to wait for him and he doesn't know, keep it a surprise. Don't make it noticeable and don't be apart of the groups. There is a lot of things that you could use your time wisely while waiting.

I learnt to be careful about what to say through emails and letters:
Your Missionary doesn't need to know all of your down's moments each week. You could share those down's moments through letters or just write all the down's moments in a journal and don't share it until he comes home.

Always share positive and uplifting moments. It could be sharing your experience at the Temple or your experience of Missionary Work during the week.

I learnt don't mention your Elder's first name:
It's because if you do that, there can be some girls will guess his email straight away and email him. I know one of the girls guessed the Elder's email who I was waiting for and she probably emailed him during the mission.

Continue waiting if it meant to be:
Girls, I encourage you to continue waiting if you know it meant to be for you and your Missionary to be together after the mission. Know it for yourself!!

You can message me anytime girls, and I probably wouldn't be posting much anymore but I would like to try my best and continue posting positive and motivational blog posts often.

Everyday

This post is based on a song called "Everyday by Maren Ord." I wasn't sure what to post, so I wouldn't have much to say. This post will also be short and sweet. If you haven't heard the song before, watch the Video below
If you can't see the Video above, here's the link below
www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUGV5wlBC7Y

If you have listened to the song, what part did you liked the most?
What part did you liked the most? .. and why do you like that part?
I liked towards the end part the most which is shown as an Image below.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "No matter how far it may seem, I'll always be there for you everyday."

Girls, I hoped a few of you's or some of you's liked that part. That part makes me happy because I know it relates during the wait. It is related during the wait by knowing that you are always there for your Missionary everyday.

Inspire Others

I was surprised by one of my guy friends that he mentioned to me through messages "I've been inspired by you and your virtue." He also mentioned a lot along with that and it made me feel so happy. It was a great feeling to know that it was something that I really needed to hear!

Girls, I hope that I have inspire you all through each blog post, either it helps you for spiritually or helps you in general. Don't be afraid to ask me anything. I will try my best to answer your question. If you are having a rough week or struggling or  you are having a hard time, I can put your name in the Temple Prayer Roll.

I love the saying on the Image below and I hope you all like it.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "to inspire others, you must first inspire yourself."

It is so true. I encourage you all to inspire others with anything. It can be anything! I also encourage you all to think about the following a few questions from the list below.

What does "inspire others" means to you?
How do you inspire others by?

What does "inspire others" means to someone who is around you?
How do someone else around you inspire others by?

Girls, you may ask "how do you inspire others by?"

"Well I inspire others by trying my best to set a wonderful example to them through attending Institute every week, attending the Temple often, attending Church every week, trying to spend some time with Sister Missionaries, and sharing the gospel with non-member friends."

Don't Limit Yourself

This post is short and sweet. I hope this post is helpful to you today.

Girls, I encourage you all to not limit to yourselves because it may feel like that you are not including yourself into activities that you could be missing out on heaps of fun and having memories. Have fun when you can while your Missionary is away. Girls trust me, he should be able to understand the reasons why you have fun and that you are making heaps of memories while he is away. If he doesn't, then I don't understand.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Don't limit yourself and don't let others convince you that you are limited in what you can do. Believe in yourself and then live so as to reach your possibilities. - Thomas S. Monson."

What does it mean "Don't limit yourself" to you?
I will give you a few minutes to think about it and then ask yourself.
What does it mean "Don't limit yourself" to someone else around you?
You may ask me what does "Don't limit yourself" means to me.

Well "Don't limit yourself" means to me, don't limit myself to do things because I might be able to.do things that I don't expect myself to do and giving new things a go. For having Heavenly Father's help, love, support and guidance each day, anything is possible for me. Therefore, I don't need to limit myself with anything.

Always remember to believe in yourself that you can give new things a go. Start something new that you haven't done before! It can be anything. Don't be afraid! Fight over your fears today with anything!

Satan is the one who makes us to feel fear and sometimes it can be a natural man too! I encourage you all to remember the quote that I have shared with you today!

I Choose To Be Happy

Girls, I encourage you to think about what the Image says and it says "When was the last time I chose to be happy rather than demanding to be right? - Linda K. Burton."
We all have choices to make in this life. The choices that we choose, can make us happy or sad. Always remember this, "It is YOUR CHOICE of how you feel today or this evening. When you are happy, you are deserved to be happy. When you are sad, you deserved to be sad."

Don't hide your feelings away from others who cares about you. There will always be someone or your true friends will always care about you. I know who my true friends are and I am grateful for who they are. I am grateful to have true friends because they have made me happy for who I am, they have helped me whenever I need them for, they know that I always try my best in anything and they know that I always try my best to find time to talk to them.

True friends, you know who you are. So thank you for everything that you were able to do for me and talking to me when I needed someone to talk to. I know that I can think of some more thank you for's but I wouldn't be sharing it with you for this post. I think it would be a very long list if I did.

If you ever need to someone to talk to, I am always willing to listen. I am always willing to care about what you have to say. So don't be afraid to message me today about anything. I will try my best to reply in a response that you would like to hear. I know that can be hard when there are other distractions happening around us.

Do you choose to be happy today? I choose to be happy today.

At All Times, and In All Things and In All Places

I know some readers aren't members of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints which I understand that they may not have a full understanding of who Heavenly Father is. Heavenly Father is God. If you don't know who God is; God is a creator of the Earth, he is perfected and glorified.

As growing up in the Church, I learnt that God is our loving Heavenly Father. I remembered each Sunday in Young Women's, the Young Women's stand up and say the Young Women's Theme outloud. I remembered loving a section of The Young Women's Theme that stood out to me the most which was "We stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places."
If you can't see the Image above, it says "stand as a witnesses of God at all times and in all things and in all places. Mosiah 18:9."

Girls, I would like you all to remember that Heavenly Father does loves you. He knows your weaknesses, he knows your trails, he knows your tribulations, he knows your struggles, he knows your strengths and HE KNOWS WHO YOU ARE!

You can talk to Heavenly Father by praying to him at any time of the day and at any time of the evening. He is always listening. He may not answer your prayers straight away, but don't feel discouraged if he doesn't answer your prayers. He will answer in his own time and when we are ready to willing to listen to him.
If you have spare around 10 to 15 minutes now, I encourage you to watch the Video above that talks about "At All Times, and All Things and In All Places," and mentioned about her story. I loved listening and watching the video. It helps to understand that Heavenly Father is there. If you can't see the Video above, here's the link below

Coming, Keeping, and Working Together

Girls, I encourage you to answer the following questions honestly and you can ask someone else who is around you to answer the same questions about what it means to them.

When you hear "Coming together," what does it mean to you?
When you hear "Keeping together," what does it means to you?
When you hear "Working together," what does it means to you?

I love the Image below, it explains what is coming together is, keeping together is, and working together is very well detailed. I hope you can relate it to those things during the wait. It may make the wait worth it.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success. - Henry Ford."

Has your thoughts changed of the meaning to "Coming together," to a better perspective?

Has your thoughts changed of the meaning to "Keeping together," to a better perspective?

Has your thoughts changed of the meaning to "Working together," to a better perspective?

"Coming Together" can be like saying "You are getting to know your Missionary better, you and your Missionary are becoming a couple."

"Keeping Together" can be like saying "You and your Missionary are keeping each other, keeping each other's company before he leaves for his mission, during his mission and after his mission. You and your Missionary stay in contact with each other constantly."

"Working Together" can be like saying "You and your Missionary can work together by serving a mission at the same time. If you don't go on a mission, you can always try to look out for opportunities to go out with the Missionaries during the day and experience Missionary Work. You and your Missionary can work plans out for the future either through letters or emails or both."

To Be with You

This post is based on a song that I loved, called "To Be With You by David Archuleta." Girls, I am very lucky to know that my Missionary comes home in a month. It is crazy that he comes home so soon and it will be an exciting moment for me, his family, his relatives and his friends. 30 Days until he comes home.

Below is the Video of the song. I hope you like it.
If you can't see the Video above, here's the link below
www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2AHsfytKoE

If you listened to the song, what were your thoughts about the song?
Did you liked the song? If so, what was your favourite part?
Girls, my favourite part is shown as an Image below.
If you can't see the Image above, it's says "And when you're standin' here in front of me, That's when I know that God does exist. 'Cause He will have answered every single prayer, To be with you, just to be with you, yeah. You ...."

Girls, I hope you like that part too while listening. "Can you believe it?" is the question to some girls might ask. "No." is the answer. If you may ask me "Why not?" as response of "No."

My response is "I said no because for almost the last 2 years, I have kept myself busy. I completed around 6 Certificates, I graduated my final year in School and my final year in Seminary when he reached around his 6 months mark. I have been attending the Temple and attending Institute classes often. I have been grateful that I used my time wisely. I hope you all will use your time wisely during the wait."

Girls, I will keep you updated how things goes between me and my Missionary when he comes home. I already know that his mission has changed his life because he mentioned it to me in his first email that he has sent me. I look forward to when I get to text him again.

I look forward to when I get to Facebook message him again. I look forward of being with him again when I get to see him again.

Don't Be Ashamed

This post is short and sweet. Girls, I love how some of the girls has been reintroducing their stories between them and their Missionary. I decided to do it because one of the girls has asked me "What's your story?" I was grateful to able to reintroduce my story to everyone again. I remembered joining the groups within the last 2 years and I already know that I will miss the groups when I leave.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Don't be ashamed of your story it will inspire others." I know that my story could inspire others by knowing me and my Missionary met at Brisbane LDS Temple one evening that happens to be both of us going to the Temple on the same evening.

Girls, feel free to share your story about you and your Missionary if you haven't reintroduce the story as yet. It would be great to hear all the stories again. I know as for myself, I love reading stories of girls that has been reintroducing their stories about them and their Missionaries.

10 Ways to Love

This post is short and sweet. We may seem to forget the 10 Ways to Love while waiting and it is a great reminder to know the "10 Ways to Love" again. I hope you will be grateful for me reminding you.
If you can't see the Image above, it says
"1. LISTEN without interrupting. (Proverbs 18)

2. SPEAK without accusing. (James 1:19)

3. GIVE without sparing. (Proverbs 21:26)

4. PRAY without ceasing. (Colossians 1:19)

5. ANSWER without arguing. (Proverbs 17:1)

6. SHARE without pretending. (Ephesians 4:15)

7. ENJOY without complaint. (Philippians 2:14)

8. TRUST without wavering. (Corinthians 13:7)

9. FORGIVE without punishing. (Colossians 3:13)

10. PROMISE without forgetting. (Proverbs 13:12)"

Girls, there are scripture references to go with the 10 Ways of Love. If you click the scripture references above, it will take you to the link of the scripture references is found. It will save you time of looking it up.

I think this post will be good for a Family Home Evening lesson, what do you think? If you think it will be a good idea for a Family Home Evening lesson, I encourage you to share it and add more things to it to make it more meaningful.

If there are a few ways that you need to improve on, I encourage you to have attempts to focus on how to improve on the few ways. You can always ask Heavenly Father for help and guidance during the process through personal prayer.  It doesn't hurt to ask him, and it doesn't hurt for you to ask someone else for help as well.

I Love You All

I know times during the wait that you may not feel someone has not loved you for what you are now because someone may say to you, "I miss the old you and I don't like the new you." Remember the Saviour, Heavenly Father, your family, your relativities, your true friends and your Missionary (if it's meant to be) will love you always.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "I love you for all that you are, all that you have been and all you're yet to be."

Girls, it is so true. I may not know each of you but I love getting to know one another. I want you all to know that I love each of you, all that you all have been and all that you all have yet to be. I know some girls has been able to help me by strengthening my testimony while helping them along the way and being there to support them.

Girls, don't ever be afraid to ask me through messages for help because in a high chance, I will be able to help you. I am here to help you. If it's a situation that you are going through and asking me to help you how to get out of that situation, I can help you because it's either that I have been through that same situation as you or I have been through a similar situation than you and I know how to get through that situation.

A reminder, I love you each of you. I would love to get to know you if we don't know each other already. I would love to be friends with you if we aren't friends already.

He'll Carry You

This post is based on a song that I loved, called "He'll Carry You by Hilary Weeks." It may not relate to this Easter Weekend. We all need to remember that Jesus Christ knows how it feels like when we are feeling down, he knows how it feels like when we are alone, he knows how it feels like when we go through heartaches, he knows how it feels like when we go through hard times, he knows how it feels like when we go through trails and he knows how it feels like when we go through struggles.

Below is a video of the song, and I encourage you to listen to it. If you don't have time to listen to it now, I encourage you to try to find a time and listen to the song.
If you can't see the Video above, here's the link below;
www.youtube.com/watch?v=4O1_5HNWiBM

What did you think about the song when you were listening to the song? Did you felt the peace and the comfort while listening?
If you can't see the Image above, it says "He'll bring you peace And leave you hope."

"I would like to share my testimony with you all. I know Jesus Christ knows how it feels like to be me whenever I go through trails, struggles, tribulations, heartaches and it's not a nice feeling. I know whenever I ask forgiveness, peace and comfort through prayer; I will be able to feel the instant knowing that I have been forgiven, given peace, given comfort and that's a nice feeling to have. Don't ever forget that Jesus Christ does loves you, he knows you are imperfect and he knows what you are going through.

I know when you pray, you can feel those same or similar feelings. I know he knows you personally, he knows your weaknesses and he knows your strengths, I know when you allow him to be apart of your daily lives, he will be able to be with you every step of the way. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen."

Coping with Rough Nights

Ask yourself the next two questions, "Am I going through rough nights during the wait for my Missionary?" and "How am I suppose to do to cope with the rough nights?

Girls, I can tell you this right now, "It's normal to have rough nights throughout the wait," and you can even ask the girls who have finished waiting for their missionaries. I have been through rough nights myself and it took me a few nights to realise that I was going through rough nights. When I realise that I was going through rough nights, I thought about some ways of how to cope those type of nights. It wasn't easy at first, until I continually found ways to cope myself with the rough nights.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Don't lose hope. You never know what tomorrow will bring Good Night!

It is so true. I would like to share with you, of how I cope myself with the rough nights. I encourage you to have some tissues nearby as it may make you cry. Try to stay strong while reading. You are more than welcome to do these things for coping your rough nights.

I prayed to Heavenly Father to ask for peace and comfort. I attended a session at the Temple because I know that it makes me feel peace and comfort a lot. I read a few past General Conference talks based on peace, comfort and love. I think about The Plan of Salvation.

I read my Patriarchal Blessing. I read my scriptures based on the scripture references that my friend Elder Garcia has given me to read each week and scriptures that are based on peace and comfort. I do my own studies on Preach My Gospel.

I hope a few of these ways or some of the ways has helped you to cope with your rough nights. Remember Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is always listening to our daily and personal prayers.

#BecauseHeLives

Girls, I know that this upcoming weekend is the Easter Weekend. I would like to share with you the message "#BecauseHeLives." This post relates to my blog "Hold Onto This Journey" under the name post title.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "No matter who you are, or who you were, if you seek him, HE IS HERE. #BecauseHeLives. HeLives.mormon.org."

I encourage you to think about that for a minute to a few minutes.
What do you think about when you hear #BecauseHeLives?
I think about some sentences with #BecauseHeLives. It's so true.

He made sacrifices for us #BecauseHeLives.
He makes us to feel peace #BecauseHeLives.
We can live again #BecauseHeLives  He loves us #BecauseHeLives.
He comforts us #BecauseHeLives. He is here #BecauseHeLives.

Those were examples and it is true. I have felt the peace, I have felt the love and I have felt the comfort when I go through hard times, struggles, trails and tribulations. The most comfort that I felt was most when I was crying during some personal prayers and crying because something bad has happened. I always try my best to do what Jesus has done.

In your own time between now to Easter, I encourage you to look up the website on Easter which is www.mormon.org/easter. While you are on the website, I encourage you to watch the video and read about Easter.

That Love Never Changes

When we go through trails, struggles and tribulations, we may seem to forget who loves us. I know that I don't ever forget that someone who loves me when I go through trails, struggles and tribulations.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Heavenly Father loves you - each of you That love never changes. - President Thomas S. Monson."

That quote is so true and I know that it would be a great thing for all of us to hear that quote at this time during our wait whatever month we are in. It can be hard remembering that Heavenly Father loves us and that love never changes through daily distractions.

It's like saying "When Heavenly Father loves us, we choose to do other things and he still loves us."

- Heavenly Father still loves us when we make mistakes because he knows that we all imperfect.

- Heavenly Father still loves us when we do service for others because he knows that service can bring a lot of sacrifices.

- Heavenly Father still loves us when we show love for others because he knows that other people can choose to feel the love that has been shown.

- Heavenly Father still loves us when we show sacrifices for others because he knows that some people will appreciate our time for being with them today.

Girls, we all are making progresses each day. It's either making someone happy and cheer up someone who was sad or helping someone by putting their things in their car. We need to know that Heavenly Father encourages us to be happy.

You Gotta Hold On

This post is based on a song called "Up by Olly Murs featuring Demi Lovato." While I was driving home last Thursday, my non-member friend Brodie was playing the song. I asked her what the song called, and so she told me. I enjoyed listening to the song and I knew straight away that I would like to share with you all the song.

Below is the Video of the song.
If you can't see the Video above, here's the link below;
www.youtube.com/watch?v=29GWMT0GB6s

What was your favourite part of the song if you listened to the song?
I will share with you of what my favourite part was when I listened to the song and it's shown as an Image below.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Oh, you gotta HOLD ON hold on to what YOUR FEELING that feeling is THE BEST THING the best thing, alright. - Olly Murs and Demi Lovato."

Girls, it's so true. Do you like that part of the song? Most times, it's like saying "we gotta hold on to what we feel about our Missionaries during the wait if it's meant to be and I know it can be best thing to feel about it."

I know that the song can relate to you during the wait for your Missionary to leave for his mission, during the wait while your Missionary is serving his mission and after when your Missionary comes home from his mission. You gotta hold on and remain strong. You gotta let everything that stops you waiting to let it go now, so that it wouldn't distract you from waiting or else it will hurt you during the wait.

Faith and Faithful

It was great to know that the 2 last posts is strong and it's spiritual. I have been trying to write while Holy Ghost is guiding me of what to say. I know sometimes it can be hard to know what to say because it's either I have a lot of things on my mind or I don't want to post something that I have posted before.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Everyone would like to have stronger faith. By themselves, the scriptures may not strengthen your faith, but being faithful to what they teach, does. In other words, faith cannot be separated from faithfulness. - John Bytheway."

It's so true! Girls, what does the word "faith" means to you?
What does the word "faith" means to someone who is near you?
Can you think of any recent experiences using faith?

If you can't think of anything, I encourage you to ask a friend or a family member if they could think of any recent experiences using faith.

When I think about the word "faith," I think about the meaning of it and so that would be believing in something that does exist but cannot seen.

What does the word "faithful" means to you?
What does the word "faithful" means to someone who is near you?

When I think about the word "faithful," I think about the meaning of it and so that would be remaining loyal and steadfast. I love being faithful in the Church by standing up to what I believe in to my non-member friends and I'm not ashamed to share anything about the Church to my non-member friends.

Girls, I encourage you all to remember what the word "faith" means to you and write down in your journal so you can look back to it one day. Girls who are members of the Church, I encourage you to remain "faithful" in the Church and remain strong. The word "faithful" can be used as remain "faithful" to the relationship between you and your Missionary during the wait. I hope you learnt something new; it could be anything. It could be simply as learning what the word "faithful" means for someone else.

See the GOOD in Yourself

I love the short quote by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland which is shown as an Image below. I hope you will love the quote too.
If you can't see the Image, it says "See the GOOD in yourself. - Elder Jeffrey R. Holland."

Girls, it's so true. Whenever you let yourself down, I encourage you to try to see the good in yourself. I know it can be not so easy than we thought about it. I know that I have let myself down by saying that I wished I could have done some things differently. The more that I have realised, that everything has a purpose. We may don't have the full understanding of everything and its purpose of it all. Everything has its own way of doing things and we can't stop it.

Please see the good in yourself, it's worth to know what is the good for you when we trust in Heavenly Father. Sometimes, it may be worthwhile to ask Heavenly Father what is the good that he sees in you. We may not get an answer for it, but through actions we would be able to know for ourselves what we are good at. We also have talents. Heavenly Father has given each of us different talents and a few talents could be common with a friend who is next to you or a family member who is next to you.

Don't be afraid to ask someone around you about what are the good qualities do they see in you through actions. If you do that, make sure that you can write it down and compare what you think of what are the good qualities that you see in yourself.

Best Days

I had no idea what to post today until I really thought about what to post while I was looking at Images that I already have on my laptop.

I loved the Image below, and I hope you can see it.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "You have to fight through some bad days to earn the best days of your life."

Girls, it is so true. It's like saying "If things doesn't work out, we always can reach to Heavenly Father through consistent content and sincere prayer. We must understand that he has better plans for us. He knows what is best for us, and he is trying to keep us happy."

Everything will be alright, even when we go through trails, tribulations and struggles each day. We always have to go through the bad days first, then receive the best days of our lives.

When we have bad days, we can always pray to Heavenly Father to comfort us, we can always talk to our friends (preferably to friends who would care) about what we are going through, we can always read the past General Conference talks (that can be based on trails, tribulations, struggles, comfort, etc), we can always read the New Eras or Ensigns, we can always read over our journals of how we were overcome those bad days in the past and we can always read our scriptures. You can always ask your Dad to receive a blessing (if he is a member of the Church and worthy to hold the Priesthood) or you could ask the Elders from serving your ward or the ward bishop from your ward or your home teachers, it helps to get through the bad days too.

Gratitude

I was thinking and writing about the things that I really am grateful for. There is never enough to be grateful for. I am most grateful for being a Latter Day Saint. I love the many teachings that I have been taught from being in Primary, in Young Women's, and now being a Young Single Adult.

I am so grateful that I have been able to help with some of my friends. I don't have answers to every question. Some questions has got me, really to think about it. I love receiving appreciation in return.

Here's a video below that talks about Gratitude. If you unable to see the video, the video is called "Elder Hales talks about Gratitude"
If you can't see the Video above, here's the link below.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0YVLuL_DnI

Elder Robert D. Hales said that if we endure with a grateful attitude, then that which we endure will strengthen us. “We realize that the purpose of our life on earth is to grow, develop, and be strengthened through our own experiences. Tests and trials are given to all of us. These mortal challenges allow us and our Heavenly Father to see whether we will exercise our agency to follow His Son,” he said.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Gratitude."

Girls, I encourage you to ask yourself the following four questions.

Have your thoughts about Gratitude changed while watching the video? If so, in what way?

If not, in what ways could you change your thoughts about Gratitude?

What were your thoughts about Gratitude?

We All Make Mistakes

This post may make you cry, and I encourage you to find a few tissues or some tissues nearby. I was very lucky from a bad decision that I have made late this afternoon to early this evening. I will share with you the experience of the bad decision.

Girls, my Mum left me behind with one of her church friends, my youngest sister, and my youngest two school friends to go to watch "Meet the Mormons" movie. After I left home, I was one of the drivers on the road. I stopped at a intersection, I was turning to go right to head the way to the highway. I checked both sides and it was clear. I checked again for both sides and it was still clear.

When I just made the turn, an incoming beeped his/her horn at me and slowed down instantly (he or she was speeding). There was a few people on the side of the road, that they heard the horn but didn't see me making the turn. I am grateful to know that Heavenly Father was watching over me and made me realised more that they are silly drivers on the road. Surely, no one is perfect at driving and we all still continue to learn new skills of driving.
I love the Image above, and it says "I wish I could've lived my life without making any wrong turns. But that's impossible. A path like that doesn't exist. We fail. We trip. We get lost. We make mistakes. And little by little, one step at a time, we push forward. It's all we can do. On our own two feet. - Nathan Takaya, Fruits Basket Vol. 21 www.behappy.me"

Girls, it is so true. It's also part of The Plan of Salvation/The Plan of Happiness by being tested, go through trails, struggles and tribulations. It's the natural mankind and there is nothing that we can do about it to stop those wrong turns, trails, struggles and tribulations.

Don't worry about what others think. There will be people in life thinks that we could be distractions to our Missionaries during their missions, there will be people in like who thinks that you and your Missionary shouldn't be together during his mission. Girls, you have a decision to make and wise it wisely. I wouldn't suggest complaining to your Missionary about everything, I would encourage you to be the best as you can for your Missionaries by sending your Missionary encouraging quotes, scripture references and uplifting experiences during the week.

This post continues on and on and I will conclude this post by encouraging you to read a post called "Overcoming Our Mistakes" that I have written earlier this month. I hope you read the post. Here's the link below if you are interested to read about that post. www.missionarygirlfriendhelpandsupport.blogspot.com/2015/03/overcoming-our-mistakes.html

Another Goodbye is Hard

It was hard to say another goodbye to another friend to leave. I haven't cried as yet, but I imagined what it would be like if I was at the airport to say goodbye to my Missionary. My friend was crying a lot and I was so happy for her. She got called to serve in Washington DC Mission.

I liked this Image below and I hope you like it too.
If you can't see the Image, it says "It's not the Goodbye that hurts but the Flashback that follow."

It is so true. I can relate to that. It feels like it could be saying "Another goodbye is definitely hard. It's definitely not easy. Some people may say it is easy to say goodbye for 18 months or 2 years if they don't care."

I have done a blog post on Monday for my friend who left for her mission, here's the link below if you are interested of reading it.
www.holdontothisjourney.blogspot.com/2015/03/farewell-sister-ula-ete.html

Girls, don't be afraid to say goodbye or bye for the last time for 2 years. Don't be afraid to say bye through emails after emailing back and forth. Don't be afraid to say bye through the Skype call if you joined for Mother's Day or Christmas Day or both.

Always try to keep calm, reminding strong throughout the wait, stay busy and always always keep smiling. I know it can be hard to keep calm, reminding strong through the wait, staying busy and keep smiling. It's definitely a good feeling to do those things because I have done those things for myself. Some of my friends is always happy to know when I tell them what I have been doing lately. I am surprised when they are always saying "You are always busy." It is good to know that I have been keeping busy.

Missin' You Like Crazy

This post is based on a song called "Missin' You Like Crazy by US to Duo." If you haven't heard the song before, I encourage you to listen to the song in your own time.

This post relates by it says "Missin' you like crazy." I know you are feeling to say "Missing you like crazy" to your Missionary during his mission. Do you ever tell your Missionary that you miss him? Well you have been, try not to say it because it may hurt if you continue to say it. I said to my Missionary that I missed him twice and he didn't say that misses me back.

Below is a Video of the song. I hope you will enjoy the song.
If you can't see the Video above, here's the link below;
www.youtube.com/watch?v=vs7XB5X1U48

Did you liked the song overall? Do you think this song relates to you?
What part of the song did you liked the most?

I will share with you the part that I liked the most which is shown as an Image below and I hope you will like it.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "I'm tired of being alone, calling you on the phone. I'd rather have you here with me."

Girls, I still remember when before one of my guy friends went on his mission, we both used to call each other, we used to Facebook message to each other often and we text messaged each other almost everyday and every night. It makes me wish that my Missionary and I would have called each other before he left. My Missionary and I were always busy, only have times for text messaging each other and Facebook messaging each other.

If you are waiting for your Missionary to leave to go on his mission, make every second of each phone calls worthwhile, make every second worthwhile when you both are spending time together and make every other conversations worthwhile.

I Will Wait For You

This post is based on a song called "I Will Wait For You by US The Duo" This post relates to girls who are waiting for their Missionaries. If you haven't heard the song before, I encourage you to listen to the song. This post is short and sweet.

Below is the Video of the song. I hope you will like it.
If you can't see the Video above, here's the link below.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6jzIJbMNjY

Did you liked the song overall? Do you think this song relates to you?
What part of the song did you liked the most?

Girls, I will share with you the part that I liked the most which is shown as an Image below and I hope you will like it.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "No one can choose who they fall for, Or when they fall, or how they fall, or why."

It's like saying, "No one can force us to fall in love with someone who we don't like. No one can force us to when we fall in love. No one can force us to of how we fall in love and no one can force us to of why we fall in love. No one should be forcing us to do anything that we don't like."

We all have choices to make each day, and allow the day takes its time. We shouldn't be saying to hurry up for time, because there is always so much that you could be doing during the day. We all have 24 hours a day either if we used it wisely or not. Girls, this post relates to you because you will wait for your Missionary.

Don't Worry Girls

Girls, I would like to share with you what my Missionary's Mum has shared with me through Facebook. She has been a great friend throughout the time that my Missionary has been serving so far. She knows that I appreciates our friendship, our conversations, telling each other anything, we trust each other a lot and other things.

I hope you can see the Image below, it's because it's the Image that she has shared with me. I hope you will like it.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Don't worry about what other people say behind your back, they are the people who are finding faults in your life instead of fixing the faults in their OWN LIFE."

It's so true, and I can relate to that. I would like to share with you an advice. It might be good to hear or it might hurt you. Either way, I hope you found it as a nice way and not a bad way.

"GIRLS, we need to stop worrying about what other people say behind our backs. It may hurt when we find out the truth by ourselves. Most times it is better for people to tell us the truth by asking us questions to find out of what they are saying is true than other people to tell you. Sometimes, it isn't nice to find out the truth from other people, especially from mutual friends with the friend who told you. I hope that makes sense."

We all need to trust in Heavenly Father and have no need to worry. Most worries can turn into a problem. When it turns into problems, it's not a good idea to share with our Missionaries. I learnt recently that some guys doesn't mind about girls complaining and other guys don't like girls complaining. Many times, I try not to complain anything but when a guy friend asks what's wrong, I explain to him what's wrong.

Letters and More Letters

Girls, do you write letters to your Missionary? Does your Missionary ever write you letters either in return or send you letters by surprise? If he hasn't written you a letter before, that's alright. You aren't alone, my Missionary hasn't written me a letter before. However, I have written letters to him throughout his mission and he appreciates the letters.

For the last 4 to 5 days, I have been writing letters to some of my friends who also on their missions. I was writing a few letters in return as a reply and some letters will be sending as a surprise. I love writing letters and always having the knowledge of what to say through letters (it's handy).

I like the Image that is shown below and I hope you will like it too.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Writing isn't letters on paper. It's communication. It's memory. - Isaac Marion."

It's so true. I know it's communication because a few friends when they send me letters, they ask me some questions and share their experiences. So in return of their letters, I am able to answer their questions, read their experiences, share any of my experiences and ask them questions. It is a great experience to read letters that has a conversation going.

I know it's memory because you will be able to keep the letters and able to re read over the letters any time you want and it's an advantage to read those experiences when you are feeling down.

"GIRLS, don't worry too much if your Missionary doesn't write you letters. You can still be supportive for him and for you to continue send letters for him. He will still appreciate letters from you, Missionaries LOVES letters. They may seem busy all the time, but they still LOVE letters!!"

When I'm With You

This post is short and sweet. This post is based on a song called "When You Kiss Me by Shania Twain." This song relates so much while waiting for your Missionary to leave and after he gets home from his mission. Well I think it does but not too sure what you think.

Below is a Video of the song. I hope you will like it.
If you see the Video above, here's the link below
www.youtube.com/watch?v=S88Wit5bNdY

What did you think about the song if you listened to it?
What was your favourite part of the song?

My favourite part of the song, is shown on a Image below
If you can't see the Image above, it says "no one gets me like you, when YOU KISS ME. Thought I knew what love was but I didn't have a clue. Never found anything that makes me feel like I do when I'm with you."

That is so true. My Missionary and I haven't kissed before. The following questions is for the girls who dated their Missionaries before he left.

Do you remember the last time when you and your Missionary kissed before he left?

Do you remember the first time when you and your Missionary kissed?

Girls, I'm sure it would be great if you remembered both of the first kiss and last kiss. How are you coping of not able to kiss your Missionary for 2 years during his mission?

It's alright if you don't remember the first kiss with your Missionary. It's alright if you don't remember the last kiss with your Missionary before he left.

I don't have much to say about this post. I'm sorry.

Today is Your Day

When you hear "Today is Your Day," what does that mean to you? I encourage you to ask someone around you the same question. When I hear "Today is Your Day," it means "Today is my day, today is my day to change better than yesterday, today is my day to start a new beginning and today is my day to make better goals to achieve."

This post is actually based on a song called "Today Is Your Day by Shania Twain." Below is the Video of the song.
If you can't see the Video above, here's the link below;
www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMciyWyugKY

What did you think about the song if you listened to it?
What part do you like the most of the song?

Below is an Image that I liked about the song.
If you can't see the Image, it says "Today is your day and nothing can stand in your way."

Girls, make today as your priority. Focus on today, don't worry about what happened yesterday and take one day at a time. Don't over think about you would be doing for tomorrow. Sometimes things doesn't work out as well as it planned to. Share with your Missionary, the positive things that has happened during the week. I still remember emailing my Missionary about the positive things during the week and he appreciates the updates.

Positive things that you can share with your Missionary can be sharing the missionary work experiences, or meeting new friends (finding out it's friends of his) that you have made or attending a session at the Temple, hope for him that he will have a good week/great week, etc.

You're Still The ONE

I love too many songs, but that's alright. Many songs that I have listened to lately, relates to you somehow, either while you are waiting for your Missionary or when he comes home. This post is based on a song called "You're Still The One By Shania Twain."

Below, is the Video of the song and I hope you will like it.
If you can't see the Video above, here's the link below
www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNZH-emehxA

What did you think about the song if you listened to it?
What section of the song did you liked the most?

Below is an Image of the section of the song that I liked the most.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "They said, I bet they'll never make it," but just look at us holding on. We're still together, still going strong."

It's so true and relates to you. You all have wait haters and they would say "I bet they'll never make it." You and your Missionary still together after long time or short time distance apart during his mission. I'm sure that you both still going strong. Don't worry about the wait haters says about you and your Missionary, as much as it could hurt but just ignore them or just tell them straight up how you feel what they said to you.

You can always prove the wait haters wrong, that you and your Missionary is still together of each milestone reaches during his mission. When your Missionary reaches his 3 months mark, or 6 months mark, or 1 year mark, you could tell the wait haters that you and your Missionary is still together.

Girls, I believe in you. If it is meant to be, it will happen of you and your Missionary will still be together after his Mission. If it's not meant to be, that's alright and there is still hope like another chance after his mission.

There You'll Be

This post is based on a song called "There You'll Be by Faith Hill." I love the song so much and it made me feel goosebumps when I first time listened to the song. I almost cried when I listened to the song for the second time. The song is one of the soundtracks that was played during "Pearl Habour movie."

Below is a Video to the song, I hope you will like it.
If you can't see the Video above, here's the link below;
www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwyWmqV_RJc

Girls, what do you think about the song? Do you think it relates to you somehow? I love a section apart of the song, which is shown as an Image below.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "In my dreams, I'll always see you sour above the sky. In my heart, There will always be a place For you for all of my life. I'll keep a part of you with me and everywhere I am, There you'll be."

When I heard this song, I think about "There he will be on his mission for 2 years. 2 years will be limited of contact. 2 years will go fast while keeping busy. Life would still throw struggles, trails and tribulations in front of me and mostly when it's unexpected. There will always be a time to pray to Heavenly Father to help me to understand those struggles, trails and tribulations is part of life. Continue to change better each day and become stronger person. Don't worry about what other people say negative about me."

Girls. we all need to be strong. I still remembered the few months after my Missionary left. It was very hard but I always had Heavenly Father by my side to help me to get through those few months. It's also great to have a great close connection with his Mum, it just makes things not easier, but a lot of sense and happiness. I have trusted my Missionary's Mum a lot and she has shown me so much trust as well. Don't be afraid to message me anytime you want. I am happy to answer or help you with list of suggestions of anything. Always remember to have Heavenly Father by your side.

Missionary Work Isn't EASY

This post is short and sweet. Girls, each time I go with Sister Missionaries either together or doing splits, I learn so much. I always knew that Missionary Work is not easy. I love a quote from Jeffrey R. Holland and that quote shows on the Image below.
If you can't see the Image, it says "I am convinced that Missionary Work is not EASY because Salvation IS NOT a cheap EXPERIENCE. - Jeffrey R. Holland."

My experience with Missionary Work was great and disappointing. Out of around 30 houses that my companion and I had, we found 2 potential investigators. It was a miracle that we found the 1st potential investigator Jessica at House #2 and she is from Vietnam. We found the 2nd potential investigator Wingwong when he was about to go running and he is from China. We met some people from China, Vietnam, South Korea and India. It was cool to meet different backgrounds.

We were also able to help a small Indian family with cleaning such as doing house chores. It was good experience. It's okay to feel rejected when we go door knocking, We weren't there to force anyone to join of what we believe in. We were trying to ask anyone if they would like some help with anything for them and it's for free.
If you can't see the Image above, it's 3 photos of me and 2 photos of me and my companion during the day for doing the splits.

Mother's Day in UK

It was Mother's Day in UK today. My Missionary got a special permission to skype call home. Next Mother's Day in Australia isn't until May 10th, but he will be home. He is so lucky to able to skype call home. This time, I don't know what has spoken about but all the other 3 Skype Calls was mentioned a bit about me.

This year for Mother's Day would be the first Mother's Day that I will be away from home. I wouldn't be able to see my family, so it will be an interesting experience of how that goes. I love a quote about "Mothers" for Happy Mother's Day. I would love to share with you the quote. I'm happy for you to share it.
If you can't see the Image above, it says
"Happy Mother's Day .....
M - Many hugs
O - Only love never anger
T - Teaching me
H - Helping me
E - Every smile when I was sad
R - Raising me to be strong"

I can relate to the quote and I hope you can relate to the quote too. So, many times, my Mum hugs me when it's unexpected. She teaches me a lot. She helps me a lot. Whenever I am sad, she asks "what's wrong?" I know she has been trying her best to help me to be strong when I go through trails, tribulations and weaknesses throughout my childhood years and teen years.
If you can't see the Image above, it's my Missionary and he always looks so happy during Skype Calls home. Another 7 weeks until he comes home. It's exciting to know that he will be home soon.

Girls, don't ever get discouraged if you don't get to join the Skype Call with your Missionary. I never get a chance to, but my Missionary's Mum tells me what has been said and mentioned through the Skype Call. It will be exciting to see him again in person after his mission.

Dreams Into Plans

This post is short and sweet. I encourage you to have tissues nearby because this post may make you cry. We all used to have can'ts sayings to things such as "I can't do that because my Missionary is gone." We all have dreams that we all could turn into plans.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "She turned her CAN'TS into cans and her dreams into PLANS."

Girls, we all have dreams that we want to turn them into plans. When we have plans, we need to act upon those plans and set time frames about how long would it achieve those planes. We could always ask Heavenly Father for assistance, guidance, help and support. We could always try our best to ask our Missionaries about what they think about our plans. I remembered before my Missionary left, he asked me "What are your plans for this year?" and it was the year that he left he asked me. He was very supportive towards me and my plans that I have made.

During his mission, it makes me think about that question for last year and this year. It made me realised that I wasn't able to achieve of the plans for 2013 and last year. Towards end of last year, has made me realised that I need to put more trust into Heavenly Father and ask him more for guidance, help, support and assistance. As for this year so far, I was able to achieve so much more by doing more effort for those plans that I have decided to do for this year.

Everything takes time. Everything takes effort. There are some things in life may last for a lifetime and other things may not last for a lifetime. It's like how we could lose friends while waiting for our Missionaries or while doing life changing experiences such as Missionary Work. Continue to stay strong.

Between Hope and Faith

This post is short and sweet. This post is based on a song called "Fine Lines by Kent Moran" and it's a song that played during a section from a movie called "Listen To Your Heart."

Girls, I encourage you all to think about the following questions;
What is Hope? What does Hope means to you?
What is Faith? What does Faith means to you?

Hope can mean to someone else around you.
Faith can mean to someone else around you.

Below is the Video of the song. I hope you can see the Video.
If you can't see the Video above, here's the link below
www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjLnHut6sc8

What did you think about when listening to the song if you did listened to it? If you haven't heard the song, I encourage you to listen to it in your own time. What was your favourite part of the song?
I love a part of the song. That part of the song is shown on the Image above.

If you can't see the Image above, it says "A fine line between hope and faith. And it starts, with understanding. Sometimes you gotta leave it all behind. Find time, to figure out your life."

It's so true what it says, because almost everything we all need hope and faith and does makes starts to know to understanding what is hope and faith.

I don't see myself without having Hope and Faith in my daily life and I don't see others without having Hope and Faith in their daily lives too. Girls, I don't know what you can get out of this post by reading it. I think the most important would be having the knowledge of Hope and Faith and it's works together well.

Listen To Your Heart

This post is short and sweet. I watched a most recent movie called "Listen To Your Heart." It's a most beautiful movie that I have ever seen. I felt goosebumps and started crying towards the end of the movie. If you haven't seen the movie before, I encourage you to watch the movie and have tissues nearby as you may cry.

Above is a Video of the Trailer for the movie. If you can't see the Video, here's the link, www.youtube.com/watch?v=TA6xT8lHpeg

If you have seen the trailer, what did you think? Do you think that you will watch the movie without your Missionary during the wait?

If you haven't see the trailer, it is about a guy has falling into a deaf girl and they fall into love for each other. It was so lovely.

I love what the Image says below. It's so true.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Don't listen to the world; they say we're never gonna make it."

Girls, I strongly encourage you to listen to your heart ALWAYS. What do you feel about the wait? What are you feeling now? Are you feeling happy that you still able to stay contact with your Missionary or not?
I love the song that is also called "Listen To Your Heart." If you can't see the Video above, here's the link below

I hope you all didn't cry while listening to the song. It's alright if you did, and it's so true,
