What does it mean for you when you reached 18 months down or about to reach 18 months? When I reached 18 months down, I instantly reflected about what I have done for 18 months and knowing that I had 6 months left. Girls, it isn't long until your Missionary comes home.
Ask yourself these following questions. What have I done for 18 months? What will be my plans for the next 6 months? What would I like to achieve for the next 6 months? What am I feeling right now?
When I reached 18 months down; I continued going to the Temple often (almost every week), I attended Institute until the class was finish for the year and I spent almost every weekend and some days during the week with a few close YSA friends.
My plans wasn't clear, I kept changing the plans because when something comes up, I try to get myself going to most events and make the most out of it. It didn't worked out so well. However I did have a few things listed that I would like to achieve for the next 6 months. Those things were to spend some time with my family, spend some time with some friends who I'm not close with and continuing to help others who have been waiting for a short time.
What was I feeling when I reached 18 months; I felt mixed emotions. I was very excited, nervous, very proud and happy. I know Heavenly Father and my Missionary's Mum has helped me a lot throughout the 18 months and knowing with a high chance, that they will continue to help me through the 6 months remaining. I still didn't know when my Missionary comes home, hopefully soon.
It's normal to feel nervous and very excited. It's normal that you may feel lost of not sure what to do for the next 6 months. Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy and that time will go fast. Don't allow others to make your decisions for you, it's okay for asking others for their opinions.
Stay Tuned.
