Sometimes, we could forget our own concerns and try put ourselves into someone else's shoes to try to know how it would be like for being that person. We may not able to feel the same way of what they are going through, we could always try to understand their problems and concerns before we think about ourselves.
I went with one of my guy friends to go to the City and we stayed together for 3 to 4 hours yesterday. He kept asking me questions. One of the first questions that he asked me was "What's your story?" and I was thinking how Augustus asked Hazel that question in The Fault in Our Stars movie. Unfortunately we didn't get photos together but he did get in some photos with me and some friends on last Friday.
One of the things that he has mentioned to me to remember was "Remember ... love others to find yourself." I thought it relates to us and that is why I shared it with you.

It is so true because we can try to forget ourselves when we are serving others. Sometimes, I stop to think about myself when my Missionary's Mum is talking to me. The only time that I could think about myself is when she ask me questions to check up on me such as "How are you?" "How is your going?" "What are you subject are you working towards now?" "What have you been doing lately?" and more questions.
I testify that if we have a desire to serve the Lord, we would serve our Missions like our Missionaries is serving their missions. I love the quote that says "If you want to lift yourself up, life up someone else by Booker T. Washington." We can forget about ourselves when we think about others. Sometimes it isn't easy to do and it takes some time to able to get hang of us to forget ourselves. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
