You don't know how much I love surprises. I love getting surprises whenever I am feeling sad and happy. I am happy to share with you what happened this evening and it was a surprise for me.
"This evening was the evening that I was looking forward to. The reason why was because one of my guy friends (who is a RM) has invited me to join a session with him and another friend. I got worried after waiting for him and another friend to arrived. They didn't turned up, so I called my guy and he wasn't answering his phone.
So I left a Facebook message to tell him how long have I been waiting for him. I called him again and hoped that he will answer. He still didn't answer my phone call. Eventually, he sent me a message through Facebook to ask me if I got his text message yesterday and I mentioned to him that I haven't. I restarted my phone and the text messages that he has sent me yesterday has arrived.
Text Message #1 mentioned that him and another friend will have to pull out of the temple trip for this week. He sent me 2 other text messages. I was overreacting and felt down inside. As I walked outside of the Temple, I saw a wave from that guy friend from a distance. All a sudden, I got all surprised, happy and cheerful. After I walked to him and I was about to sit down where he was sitting, he gave me a hug and made my night so much better. We talked a lot before we both had to leave. Before he leaves, he gave me another hug."
I learnt from that experience of what the Image says below.
If you can't see the Image above, it says "Life is so extraordinary. Wonderful surprises are just around the most unexpected corners. - Rosamunde Pilcher."
Girls, I encourage you to accept surprises from anyone. It surely does makes me happy and cheerful. Don't allow surprises brings you down. Appreciate all the surprises that you receive while waiting for your Missionary to come home.
