Thank you to a Missionary Girlfriend for suggesting me two topics. Those two topics was Obedience or Patience. I have chosen to do Obedience. As I was looking through Google Images for a good quote that relates to Obedience, I saw a great one that I would like to share with you.
If you can't see the Image, it says "OBEDIENCE brings BLESSINGS - Pres. Monson. April 2013."
Sometimes, we may not see obedience brings blessings everyday and every night because we get so much caught up on worldly things and think about so much far ahead of us. Obedience can save our lives, depending on which we choose to be obedient to. Everyone is watching us of our actions throughout our daily lives and we may not know when we have our backs turned to them.
I love trying my best to be obedient, because it helps me to avoid the bad decisions of consequences if I choose not to be obedient. It helps me to become a better person when I am obedient because it shows an example to my younger siblings to follow my right decisions and actions. I don't want to lead them the wrong way by not being obedient to my parents.
I will share with you of a part of what Thomas S. Monson mentioned through the talk, "We learn obedience throughout our lives. Beginning when we are very young, those responsible for our care set forth guidelines and rules to ensure our safety. Life would be simpler for all of us if we would obey such rules completely. Many of us, however, learn through experience the wisdom of being obedient."
I encourage you to become more obedient to everyone around us, everyone is watching and they will either follow our righteous actions or not. Be careful of what you do, when you do and why you do make those righteous decisions. It can change our lives for the better.
